I am happy to report we have found a wonderful rv park in the middle of nowhere. We are currently in Picacho, AZ it’s 40 miles west of Tucson and 18 miles East of Casa Grande.

Oh were to start on all of the nice things about this park. It has beautiful cactus throughout the park. They have taken great amounts of time and effort to keep this beauty groomed and lovely to look at in this park.
The price here is reasonable to be quite honest this is the first park we have been to that had all the amenities and the cost is so low.
20$ a night – 120$ a week. We took a week and we are happy we did.
The price includes some perks:
The showers are large and the water is toasty hot. I took a long shower because of all the time we spent while selling pumpkins in the parking lot our showers were limited to about 2-3 minutes.. So I took advantage for a good 10 minutes. The restrooms sparkled they were very clean!
The swimming pool is nice. It’s open from 8am-8pm. It’s not heated but solar cover so the temp is just right. They also have a small hot tub it’s enclosed and private. No kids under 18 in the hot tub. KUDOS FOR THAT
The staff is friendly and they have a great store, all kinds of supplies and groceries. They have a small wine selection as well as beer, soda, milk and juice. Their laundry room is perfect. A few washers and a few dryers. 1.25 to wash and they wash good.
We have been here for 2 nights so far and it’s been quiet and relaxing. Here are some pix of our site..

You can click on any of the pictures above to see the full size image. This is our first official campground review and we couldn’t be more pleased that it’s such a great place to stay!
Has any readers stayed at this park? Will this post help you decide on where to stay when in the area?

While you’re there, go up through Florence and into Superior. There is a great State Park called Boyce Thompson Arboretum. You’ll love it!!
