We got the camera cord fixed and I wanted to share with you the process of putting up the pumpkin patch. You start out with a big tent. The tent company installs it because it needs to be able to with stand winds up to 80mph.. By the way the wind is about 30-50 mph today!!
After that you have to wire the tent inside so you can have lights at night. The fire and city inspectors both have to approve. We are in a very nice neighborhood so they are a little picky. Here is the before pix!

After you get all that done then a semi comes with loads and loads of pumpkins. We actually had to hire 6 guys from the day labor to get them unloaded.

This was allot of work but it’s really cute inside now and we get compliments on how we decorated. I made Kevin pose for this picture just for the blog.. enjoy..
You can click it to see it bigger.
So all in all we are enjoying the pumpkin patch job. We have heard that this is much easier then selling trees. We’ll wait to see. It is a somewhat easy job so far but we haven’t been that busy yet. The owner is bringing another load of about 1,000 more pumpkins he says we are going to need them because it’s about to get “super busy”!!
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy. Again please leave a comment and let us know what else you’d like to see on our blog!
One last thing I wanted to add. I know that our boss here is still looking for couples to sell tress. If you are interested feel free to drop us an email and we can send you his contact information..

I wanted to quickly apologize to all of our blog readers for not having more pictures up. I have a ton in my camera but there is something wrong with my cord and it wont allow me to upload them from the camera.. So please stay with us here we will have the pictures up soon soon soon. I now have 279 pix in the cam.. URG!
So we arrived in Tucson, AZ where we are selling Pumpkins and then Xmas trees. We absolutely LOVE this job so far. We spent a few days setting up. You have to wire the tent to put lights and make displays and then go through several inspections with the city and fire guy. WE PASSED!! Our boss seemed proud when he dropped off the pumpkins yesterday. We have thousands and we are getting more. We took before and after pix and I cant wait to get them up on the site.
I wanted to tell you how we got the job! We joined a GREAT work camping site. In case you haven’t heard it’s called workamper.com they have a great program there as well as a wonderful forum of folks. So if your trying to decide if you could live life in an RV and work to support your traveling You Can.. Go see that site! Click Here
Well that’s all the rambling I have for now. I wanted to ask a favor from my friends here that read my blog> Would you mind just leaving a comment, just say hi or something. I’m trying to get an idea of what my readers would like to know. I know this blog is very new so there isn’t to much to read yet but if I get an idea of what folks would like I can better update as to what folks would like. By the way you can remain anonymous you don’t have to leave your name.

Well we hit the road yesterday.. We left Craig, Co. We went about 100 miles and stayed in the middle of nowhere. Debuqe I think is the name of the town. We left there this morning and drove right into a major storm. The wind was blowing so hard I had trouble keeping in one lane so we decided after only 35 miles we were gonna park and hang out for the day. Kevin was really excited about this because today is college football. He’s a HUGE football fan. so we got a spot at the rv ranch campground in Grand Junction, Co. The price is high but the ppl are soo nice it’s the only rv park we’ve seen that they give you a travel pack when you register.. If I were to star it I would give it 3 outta 5. Just because it was 38$ and NO cable…waaa but it has wireless.
Well we’ll be back on the road tomorrow headed for Moab, UT.. Cant wait to see it!
Kudos
