We applied for 2 jobs selling pumpkins and xmas trees for the holiday season and we got the job. We took the job that is Casa Grande, AZ. I cannot wait. We will be leaving sometime the first week of Oct as we start on the 12th. I so look forward to going to a new location. 3 months is not to long either. From the job description the money should be good. I guess, not positive but I think we’ll go to Yuma after and hang out there for a few months until weather allows us north again. I’m a little worried about going through all the mountains between here and Casa Grande. If anyone has went this trip please email and let us know how the trip went. Ok all for now but I’ll be back again tomorrow.!!

How we came to be in Craig, Colorado
September 23, 2007 · 1 Comment
| We are in Craig, Colorado at present. We met friends in Yuma, Arizona last year and they live in Craig. We wanted to stop here to visit for a day or two on our way back east. When we stopped I wanted to have the tranny checked out because it seemed to be slipping so we found a mechanic and had it looked at. The tranny was ok after some minor repairs but by this time we had met a few of our friends, friends and Kevin was offerd a job for a local roofing company. He took it. So what was suppose to be a few day visit has turned into a 2 month stay. We also decided that we would’nt be going back east this year.. $$ wont allow us. It’s ok. We have no plans set in stone that is the beauty of this life style. I took a picture via google earth of Craig you can take a look at a bigger pic by clicking on the thumbnail! There is a reason I pointed out the fair grounds with a story to follow soon! |

Our first Post! Enjoy:)

Finally I’m going to start blogging here on my site. I’ve been wanting to journal our life because I have to tell you you’d almost have to see it to believe some of the things we see and do..
I’m sure if I had the skills to write a book I sure could. We have a wonderful life but sometimes it’s uneasy not knowing what the next day will bring. I made a joke to Kev that we are always one flat tire from homeless… Now while it was a joke anything is possible.
I read on another website (workers on wheels, I think) that some of us rvers could be called scanners. We want to do so much that we scan a little bit of everything in life. That sums up our venture. We want to do and see alittle bit of everything life and this we find is the best way to do it.
I hope to keep your attention and write a story that you will enjoy and want to come back and read each day…
{Stay Safe! Until next time!:-)}
